12th Executive Committee Meeting: Results of the first quarter, key tasks of the second quarter of 2023

On March 29, 2023, the Party Committees of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST Party Committee) held the "12th Executive Committee Meeting: Results of the work of the first quarter, the key tasks of the work of the second quarter of 2023. Prof. Acad. Chau Van Minh, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Party Committee, and President of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, chaired the Conference, with the participation of members of the Executive Committee and members of the Inspection Committee of the VAST Party Committee.

At the conference, the delegates focused on discussing and, contributing ideas and unanimously approved:

• Report on the results of the first quarter and key tasks of the second quarter of 2023 of the VAST Party Committee.
• Preliminary report on inspection and supervision in the first quarter, key tasks in the second quarter of 2023 of the VAST Party Committee Inspection Committee.
• Resolution of the VAST Party Committee on strengthening and improving the effectiveness of mass mobilization work in the new situation.
• Resolution of the Twelfth Executive Committee Meeting of the VAST Party Committee.

Speaking at the conclusion of the Conference, Prof. Acad. Chau Van Minh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, and President of VAST, highly appreciated the contributions of the delegates attending the Conference. He emphasized that, 2023 is the pivotal year of the Congress term, with implementing many important tasks and contents to implement the Resolution of the Party Congress of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology and the 13^th National Party Congress. With the strong spirit of responsibility, in the first quarter of 2023, the VAST Party Committee focused on leading and comprehensively directing all aspects of Party building, organizations, staffs, and scientific research studies, disbursement of public investment capital, major projects of Academy, inspection, supervision, verification of asset and income declarations, international cooperation, application and deployment, etc. Direct the amendment, supplement and promulgation of more than 90 documents (including Resolutions, Directives, Plans, Regulations Decisions) for leadership, direction, management and administration.

Prof. Acad. Chau Van Minh suggested that the comrades in the Executive Committee, based on their assigned responsibilities and tasks, concretize the assigned work contents, strengthen inspection and urge to carry out the tasks, ensuring the highest possible completion.
