10th International Conference on Advanced Materials Science and Nanotechnology – IWAMSN 2021

IWAMSN Conference is an international scientific forum with the participation of leading international scientists in the fields of advanced materials and nanotechnology. In particular, IWAMSN 2021 is conducted online and on-site, gathering more than 340 scientists in the field of materials science and nanotechnology, from 21 countries around the world. In which, 219 scientists participated directly and 122 scientists participated online, with 65 international scientists from many countries such as Japan, Korea, France, the US, the UK, Australia, Belgium, Sweden, Poland. At the conference, there were more than 260 scientific reports in the field of nanotechnology and advanced materials science, from 4 subcommittees:
- Materials for Electronics and Photonics (MEP);
- Nanostructured Materials and Devices (NMD);
- Advanced Engineering Materials (AEM);
- Advanced Materials and Nanotechnologies for Energy, Life Science, and Environment Technology (ELE).
With the meeting and exchange during the conference, many conditional international cooperation ideas were actualized, contributing to improving the level and capacity of domestic science and technology research. At the same time, IWAMSN 2021, with many new and updated topics, young scientists have the opportunity to interact and exchange with leading scientists in the world in the field of nanotechnology and science, assess the level of development as well as the necessary and sufficient conditions for the development of this field in Vietnam in the upcoming time.

The IWAMSN conference is a series of scientific activities held every 2 years, which is an opportunity for domestic and international scientists to meet and exchange academically with international colleagues on advanced materials and nanotechnology; introduce the latest research works that are of interest to the international scientific community; at the same time create opportunities to build and develop a number of international research, cooperation projects and programs, gradually orienting towards the topics to solve scientific and technological problems of concern to the country, and introduce Vietnam to international friends. IWAMSN Conference 2021 is co-organized by Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST), National Institute of Materials Science of Japan (NIMS), CNRS Néel Institute (IN, France). The conference is sponsored by the following units: Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, Institute of Materials Science, Institute of Physics, Nafosted Foundation - Ministry of Science and Technology, Office of Global Naval Research (ONRG), Air Force Scientific Research Laboratory (AFOSR), VINIF Foundation and Big Data Research Institute - Vingroup, Advances in Natural Sciences Magazine: Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, HORIBA Vietnam Co., Ltd., and Company LMS Technologies Vietnam Ltd.
After 3 days of events, the 10th International Conference on Advanced Materials Science and Nanotechnology - IWAMSN 2021 was a great success. IWAMSN conference has gradually become an important and anticipated event in the Vietnamese and international scientific research community. The success of the Conference will be an important factor for Vietnam to host many international conferences on Science and Technology.
