10 outstanding achievements of the Youth Union of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology in the period 2022 - 2025

In the period of 2022 - 2025, the Youth Union and youth movement of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology have taken place enthusiastically, creatively and meaningfully - both imbued with scientific identity and demonstrating the spirit of vanguard, volunteerism and aspiration to contribute of the youth throughout VAST. Looking forward to the 8th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, term 2025 - 2030, let's review 10 outstanding achievements, outstanding marks that contributed to making the term successful and influential!

1. Youth performing scientific research, technology deployment and field surveys: VAST youth constantly affirms its pioneering role in research topics and projects, applying new technologies, transferring techniques, and participating in field surveys across the country - making practical contributions to the development of national science and technology.

2. Gathering young minds - creating science - Mastering intellectual property: Youth Science Conference in various fields and the training series "Improving writing skills, registration and intellectual property search for young cadres", the program has become a prestigious academic forum, helping members practice research skills, publish and protect scientific results.

3. Summer volunteering - Skills training - Solid courage: Combining volunteer activities, training in Youth Union work skills with a journey of gratitude, visiting historical “red addresses” – spreading the spirit of dedication, patriotism and national pride.

4. Green Sunday - Small actions, big meanings.

5. Youth of VAST - Gratitude for the past, dedication for today: Youth of VAST organized visits, offered incense, and took care of martyrs' cemeteries, demonstrating the morality of "Repaying gratitude", contributing to educating the revolutionary tradition for the young generation.

6. Young scientists - Accompanying the development of new rural areas: Promoting the expertise of young cadres in the fields of science, technology, environment, agriculture, etc., contributing to the sustainable development of localities.

7. Youth of VAST - Healthy to study, practice to contribute: Sports playground connecting young staff, spreading the spirit of solidarity, and exchanging between institutes and affiliated centers.

8. Teachers who light up the mind - Youth of VAST continue the glory: Honoring dedicated scientists, lecturers, and teachers – those who inspire passion and knowledge to the young generation of VAST.

9. Book Festival - Nurturing reading culture, spreading knowledge: Space to spread knowledge, arouse the spirit of self-study and reading culture among young cadres; honor the value of books in research and life.

10. Honoring young intelligence - The youth of VAST shines with Vietnamese spirit: From Advanced Youth following Uncle Ho's teachings (2023, 2024), Ly Tu Trong Award, to Outstanding Youth Union Secretary, Creative Youth... all are proof of the intelligence, spirit and aspiration to contribute of the youth of VAST.
