1,500 bottles of nano silver and propolis disinfectant mouthwash to support COVID-19 treatment

The Institute of Environmental Technology under the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST) has researched and developed the results from the VAST-level projects on pilot production on silver nano application, especially the project on completing the technology of producing nano silver solution as materials used in agriculture, health and other fields of life, code: VAST.SXTN.03/16-17, led by Dr. Tran Thi Ngoc Dung.

Over the past time, the Environmental Technology Department under the Institute of Environmental Technology has collaborated with the Doctor Fresh High-tech Group Joint Stock Company to produce anti-bacterial mouthwash, with the product name of Proposilver; Publication number: 5899/19/CBMP-HN dated December 5, 2019, issued by Hanoi Department of Health under the product of oral care (mouthwash). Its certificate of standard was granted by the Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality.
With the spirit of joining hands to fight COVID-19, the Institute of Environmental Technology and the Doctor Fresh High-tech Group Joint Stock Company donated 1,500 bottles of Proposilver mouthwash for front-line hospitals and agencies, including the Dong Anh district-based National Hospital for Tropical Diseases, and the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology, in order to combat COVID-19.
On April 8, 2020, the Technology Application and Deployment Department and the Institute of Environmental Technology, the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology organized a ceremony to present 1,000 bottles to the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases and 500 bottles to the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology.
