Goal and objectives of the project
SENS aims to research the application of remote sensing in monitoring water quality parameters of various freshwater/brackish water systems in Vietnam and some regions in Europe.
Another goal of SENS is to enhance cooperation between the two research institutions, the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology.
Main results
- 01 scientific paper published in the journal Advances in Space Research, listed in SCIE-Q1.
- 01 scientific paper in a domestic journal (accepted for publication).
- Provided training for 01 Ph.D. candidate: Ngô Đức Anh – project member, main supervisor: Dr. Vu Anh Tuan – project leader.
Novelty and actuality and scientific meaningfulness of the results

The project has published articles in international SCIE-Q1 journals, contributing to enhancing the publication capability of its members and contributing to the international publication results of the Vietnam National Space Center, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology.
The research results and scientific proposals have provided data and methods (processes) for subsequent studies and can be developed with other marine environmental parameters and on a larger scale, such as nationwide or regional studies.
