| Project’s code | VAST04.02/22-23 |
| Research hosting institution | Institute of Marine Biochemistry (IMBC) |
| Project leader’s name | PhD. Trinh Thi Thanh Van |
| Project duration | 01/01/2022 - 30/06/2024 |
| Project’s budget | 600 million VND |
| Classify | Grade B |
| Goal and objectives of the project | - Determine chemical constituents of Carallia brachiata (Rhizophoracea) and evaluate the anti-inflamatory activity of isolated compounds; |
| Main results | - Theoretical results: |
| Novelty and actuality and scientific meaningfulness of the results | - For the first time, the chemical constituents of Carallia brachiata in Viet Nam have been studied, 14 compounds were isolated, including two new compounds being two catechin derivatives carabrachiatanins A (1) and B (2) along with twelve known compounds. For the first time, the compounds 1-12 and 14 have been isolated from Carallia genus as well as C. brachiata. |
| Products of the project | - Scientific papers in referred journals (list): |
| Recommendations | Carallia brachiata has been needed to study deeply on anti-inflamatory activity and lymphoma activity. |
