Goal and objectives of the project

General goal: Obtain technology to fabricate Hydroxyl Apatite (HA) surface coating solution based on TiO2 to apply  kill bacteria, fungi and toxic chemicals at offices, clinics/hospitals and in households. 
Specific objectives: Research and complete the technology for fabricating HA surface coating solution based on TiO2 having spherical crystal is 20-30 nm in size and rod crystal is10 x10 x 20 -500 nm in size to kill bacteria, fungi and toxic chemicals (organic solvents) at workplaces, clinics/hospitals and in households. Develop products from laboratory scale to production on a larger scale of 10L/day.

Products of the project
- HA/N-TiO2 solution was delivered to the customer (150 liters) and 500gr of HA/N-TiO2 powder was used for Aldehyde testing by Kanagawa Institute of Industrial Science and Technology in Japan.
- Product quality: The solution is not precipitated and has a milky white color. N-doped TiO2 has a nano size of 15-30 nm (spherical) and a rod size of 10 x 10 x 20 (up to 500 nm). With a TiO2 content of 3-5%, the HA/N-TiO2 solution costs only a quarter of its import price, but the quality is equivalent or even better.
