Goal and objectives of the project

- Develop solution interaction plasma method to fabricate nanoparticles with semiconducting-metal or metal-dielectric hybrid nanostructures.
- Using laser spectroscopy to study the photodynamic properties of nanomaterials that have been fabricated based on nano/femtosecond laser excitation.
- Training science and technology staff, strengthening international cooperation and integration. Promoting research and scientific exchange capacity among member institutes: Vietnam - Belarus - Russian Federation in optics and spectroscopy.

Main results

Stimulated decay kinetics study determines the nonlinear optical effect of colloidal Ag2S QDs coated with thioglycolic acid molecules based on the Z-scan technique, allowing assessment of the rapid signal capture of the carrier particles. electricity to a local state, thereby determining the influence of near-field interaction on nonlinear effects under excitation of femto and picosecond laser pulses.
Fabrication and study of spectral and kinetic properties of multilayer hybrid nanocomposite (Ag-CuPc)nAg (n = 1, 2, 6) fabricated by thermal evaporation in vacuum using the pump-detector absorption spectroscopy with femtosecond time resolution. We have evaluated the kinetic process of the decay of the S1-Sn induced absorption band for CuPc organic films showing the cross-talk between energy levels in the organic film.
A proposed new material, CQD nanocarbon quantum dots, and CQD/Ag hybrid nanostructures were successfully synthesized by the solution interaction plasma method. We observed fluorescence quenching of CQDs in the presence of localized surface plasmon resonance, which induces resonance energy transfer (RET) between Ag particles and CQDs in the fabricated hybrid nanostructure . This result enhances the potential of CQD/Ag HNPs for highly sensitive and selective fluorescence turn-on sensing platforms for the detection of heavy ions.
During the project implementation, we had specific scientific exchanges with foreign partners. The results of the project make a great contribution to training human resources in the field of quantum optical physics and nanophotonics in Vietnam as well as strengthening cooperation and joint scientific publication.

Novelty and actuality and scientific meaningfulness of the results

The results of this research have contributed greatly to the training of young scientists in the field of quantum photonics and nano-photonics in Vietnam. It also promoted international publications, which is now a matter for the Vietnamese Academy of Science and Technology.
