Main results | - Theoretical results: Provided additional information on the distribution area, ecological characteristics of the distribution area, determined composition of groups of microorganisms in the soil where Paphiopedilum appletonianum (Gower) Rolfe is found to evaluate soil quality and to select strains with cellulase activity, identified the main nematode species parasitizing Paphiopedilum appletonianum (Gower) Rolfe) to serve the prevention of plant diseases in conservation work of this orchid species.
- Applied results: The dataset on biology, ecology, and current status of 02 orchid species, the proposed regulations for conservation and development of 02 orchid species, the proposed technical procedures for conservation and development of 02 orchid species, and the technical manual for growing and caring for two orchid species are the valuable basis for conservation management of Paphiopedilum callosum (Rchb.f.) Stein and Paphiopedilum appletonianum (Gower) Rolfe). The conservation models of 02 ha for these two endangered plant species are a practical contribution to their conservation. |

For the first time the composition of groups of microorganisms in the soil where Paphiopedilum appletonianum (Gower) Rolfe is found and the main nematode species parasitizing Paphiopedilum appletonianum (Gower) Rolfe) have been determined. |
