Goal and objectives of the project
The goal of the task is to study the relationship between structure and function of the ribosome-inactivating protein Trichobakin (TBK) to create a recombinant immunotoxin with a new sequence and structure with potential for effective application
Main results

The results achieved are (1) Designed, purified different forms of recombinant proteins ΔC7-TBK, ΔC7-TBK-GFP and evaluated anti-cancer activity on some human cancer cell lines; Identifying the ΔC7-TBK-GFP protein that has the ability to enter cells; (2) Designed and purified mutant molecules of Trichobakin labeled with different isotopes. Molecular structure simulation of forms of TBK fused to potential active peptides, antibody fragments, receptor ligands and their interactions with associated proteins; (3) Simulate and analyze the molecular structure of mutant forms of Trichobakin, their interaction with lipid bilayer membranes and with ribosomal proteins of Eukaryotic organisms; Evaluation of the inhibitory activity of extracellular protein biosynthesis and anti-cancer activity of mutant forms of Trichobakin
