| Goal and objectives of the project | General objective: Synthesize a biocompatible hybrid material system based on superparamagnetic SPION and HAp for use in delivering the 5-fluorouracil drug against bladder cancer; |
| Main results | - Scientific results: SPION/HAp material has been synthesized using 1-step and 2-step procedures, and SPION/HAp/5-fluorouracil, SPION/HAp/Cu, and SPION/HAp/Cu/5-fluorouracil composites have been synthesized; the ability to kill bladder cancer cells of synthesized materials were studied. - Applied results: the results of the project can be applied to treat bladder cancer. High applicability because the precursors used to synthesize materials are all low-cost chemicals, the synthesis process is simple, not complicated, and does not require expensive equipment. |
| Novelty and actuality and scientific meaningfulness of the results | SPION/HAp/5-fluorouracil, SPION/HAp/Cu, and SPION/HAp/Cu/5-fluorouracil materials were synthesized and have the ability to kill bladder cancer cells. |
