Goal and objectives of the project	Update the VNREDSat-1 image data into the remote sensing database system of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology from 2019 to the end of 2021.
Main results	Theoretical results: The shared image database system will be a valuable source of data for remote sensing technology research and applications. The additional updated data will ensure the timeliness of research and remote sensing applications Applied results: The efficient operation and exploitation of the database system will contribute to the application of scientific and technological advancements, especially in remote sensing technology and the application of research results from the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology to serve socio-economic development. This, in turn, will enhance the investment efficiency of Earth observation satellite systems such as VNREDSat-1.
Novelty and actuality and scientific meaningfulness of the results	Continuing the update of the remote sensing database at the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology will ensure the freshness and timeliness of the image database, thereby enhancing the applicability of remote sensing technology research for users.
Products of the project	The first main product: Update report of the database system of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology. The process of updating VNREDSat-1 image data into the remote sensing database system of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology. Summarize statistics on the quantity of image products produced and updated by year. Evaluate the amount of work performed and propose recommendations. The second main Product : VNREDSat-1 dataset updated into the remote sensing database system of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology. Currently, the number of VNREDSat-1 image products for the years 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022 have been fully produced and updated.
Research area	Institutes, education and training centers in VAST where remote sensing images are used.
Recommendations	Continuing to invest resources to update remote sensing image data obtained from VNREDsat-1 system. VAST conducts the necessary procedures to issue regulations on organization, management, storage, update, and exploitation of the VAST’s remote sensing database as a basis to boost exploitation, improve the application efficiency of this shared database.
