| Goal and objectives of the project | Evaluation of the biosynthetic potential of neuroprotective and cardioprotective substances of filamentous fungi from Khanh Hoa sea for application in medicine. |
| Main results | - Screening of 15/35 strains (42%) capable of reducing DPPH and ABTS free radicals with SC% value > 50%. |
| Novelty and actuality and scientific meaningfulness of the results | The study isolated 04 compounds from the co-culture extract of the fungi Aspergillus carneus KMM 4638 and Beauveria felina KMM 4639, of which strobilactone A (2) was also evaluated for the first time with protective activity towards H9c2 cardiomyocyte cells when treated with rotenone, asperflavinoid C (1) and ustusolate E (3) were evaluated for the first time with cytotoxic activity against MCF-7 breast cancer cells. |
