Project's information
| Project's title | Study om and preparation the anti-reflective coating for glass panels of solar cell |
| Project’s code | UDPTCN 03/20-22 |
| Research hosting institution | Institute for Tropical Technology |
| Project leader’s name | Nguyen Vu Giang |
| Project duration | 01/01/2020 - 31/03/2023 |
| Project’s budget | 600 million VND |
| Classify | Excellent |
| Goal and objectives of the project | Fabrication of anti-reflective coating on glass to apply in solar cell production.
|
| Main results | Technological results:
- Fabrication of anti-reflective coating on glass to apply in solar cell production.
Theoretical results:
- Light transition increased up to 97% leading to increase in energy efficiency in solar cell.
-Applied results:
- The results of project can be apply to glass panels that requiring high anti- reflective properties for solar cell production. |
| Novelty and actuality and scientific meaningfulness of the results | A low refractive index coating film based on a porous structure formed when a nano-silica solution is coated on the surface, reducing light reflection caused by the surface of the glass. At the same time, using a dual-agent silane mixture increases adhesion and controls the size of silica nanoparticles. |
