+ Regarding scientific aspects:
Researched and fabricated GND nanocomposite materials with special features (heat resistance, high mechanical strength) from polyamide resin and at the same time does not affect the quality of the barrel during use. The polymer is modified to increase the cross-links in the molecular structure, and at the same time increase the proportion of crystalline components in the polymer molecular chain, and the crystallization density increases. This material can be easily manufactured from 60, 82 and 100 caliber mortar seals on injection molding equipment. Mortar gaskets 60 and 82 from GND nanocomposite materials have been evaluated for their physical, mechanical and thermal properties and tested directly 03 times at the TB1 shooting range, Military Zone 1, Bac Giang with the Minutes of A specialized unit under the Ministry of National Defense certifies that it is qualified.
Successfully researched and fabricated high-performance PA610/NS/GF nanocomposite materials based on polyamide 610 with glass fiber reinforcement (GF) and nanosilica (NS) to meet the requirements of the details and parts in LA AAM with the following specifications: Tensile strength: 151.3 MPa; Charpy impact toughness: 30.2 MPa; Viscosity index: 125cm3/g; humidity: 0.2%; electrical endurance: 26.5 kV/mm.
Successfully researched and fabricated polyethylene terephthalate insulating thin films with the same technical criteria as PET-E with a thickness of 50 μm according to GOST 24234-80 with the following technical characteristics: Thickness: 51.0 μm; Width: 201 mm; Appearance: Surface free of punctures, wrinkles, foreign bodies or stains; Relative elongation: 88.2%; Tear resistance: 251 N; Film shrinkage: 0.28%; Volumetric resistivity: At room temperature: 1,32.1014 Ω.m., in dry environment, 155 ºC: 13,6.1011 Ω.m., when tested at room temperature after keeping in a humid environment at room temperature. room for 24 hours: 2,95.1012 Ω.m; Electrical endurance under ac voltage frequency 50 Hz: At room temperature: 205.9 kV/mm, when tested at room temperature after keeping in a humid environment at room temperature for 24 h: 162.7 kV/mm.
Successfully researched and fabricated polyester resin from dimethyl terephthalate (DMT), sebasic acid (SbA) and ethylene glycol (EG) with technical criteria equivalent to glue grade TФ-60 according to ТУ 6-05-211-895 -79 as follows: completely soluble in methylene chloride solvent, melting point 166 °C, thermal stability of glue line 110 ºC, strength of glue line when gluing PET film = 85% of strength of PET film.
+ Applications:
Every year, the production units of the Ministry of Defense produce a large number of mortar shells of all kinds to supply to combat units. Mortar gaskets manufactured from GND composite resin have been through the process of testing, trial production, laboratory evaluation and actual test firing for good results. Currently, the production units of the Ministry of Defense have a high demand for this special material and there are new proposals on technical criteria according to the development trend of modern weapons. In 2022, the Center for High Technology Development has received official dispatches from specialized units under the Ministry of National Defense requesting coordination and supply of GND nanocomposite materials, the Center has signed a contract to supply this type of material. to manufacture mortar gaskets of caliber 60 and 82, and in the near future will provide materials to manufacture mortar gaskets 100.
PA610/NS/GF nanocomposite material (PA610 composite plastic) can be used to manufacture some details in LA AAM such as launch tube sensor body, crank mechanism assembly, socket assembly, jack assembly, .. During the implementation of the project component, the composite PA610 plastic material was used to test launch tube sensor body products at Z129 Factory, General Department of Defense Industry. The launch tube sensor body product is made from 2 types of PA610 composite plastic M1 and M3, the technical specifications are checked (according to the technological process of manufacturing the sensor body, symbol 939.080.QT of the manufacturer. machine Z129) results are similar to products manufactured by Factory Z129 from imported materials.
The polyethylene terephthalate insulating thin product of the Project Component was used to manufacture the dose shell (including the cap and the primer body) of the LA AAM cruise engine. The product meets the criteria of testing, inspecting and evaluating products according to the currently used plan of the General Department of Defense Industry. The product after being glued with Polyester plastic has been tested according to the process at Factory Z121/General Department of Defense Industry. The test results show that: after gluing the dose shell to the body of the cruise engine primer, the glue line is firm, there is no phenomenon of layer separation and air bubbles, the moisture resistance test, the thermal shock test is satisfactory, the quality is satisfactory. equivalent quantity to similar Russian products in use.
The glue based on polyester resin is provided in the form of pellets, the melting point is usually around 170-190oC and the crystallization rate is very fast. Research shows that the adhesion quality is very good when gluing plastic to metal, metal to metal and plastic to plastic. Especially, the dose shell has been glued to the body of the polyester cruise engine primer in the quantity of 8 sets. Test results according to the process at Factory Z121/General Department of Defense Industry showed that: after gluing the dose shell to the body of the cruise engine primer, the glue line is firm, there is no phenomenon of layer separation and air bubbles. Heat and humidity test, thermal shock test meet the requirements, the quality istra similar Russian products in use.
Novelty and actuality and scientific meaningfulness of the results

- Researched the selection of the base resin, determined the main technical parameters affecting the thermal stability, mechanical strength and friction reduction for 82 screw and smooth barrel mortar gaskets.
- Researched to modify the base resin using suitable additives to increase the cross-links in the structure of the molecule, and at the same time increase the proportion of components with crystalline structure in the polymer molecular chain.
- Researched and developed technology to manufacture new materials with both high thermal stability and high mechanical properties. This is a hybrid composite material that attracts much scientific attention. This material will combine the advantages of reinforcing agents (fiberglass-GF, nannosilica-NS,...) in the PA610 resin. PA610/NS/GF materials have superior mechanical and thermal properties compared to PA610/NS materials. The glass fiber content suitable for reinforcing PA610/NS is 30%. At this content, the mechanical properties of the material reached the highest value (the breaking strength increased by about 91.57%) and the thermal stability of the material was significantly improved (the decomposition temperature increased by 38 ,29oC) compared with PA610/NS material.
- The technological process for manufacturing polyethylene terephthalate insulating thin films has been developed in accordance with domestic equipment conditions. The polyethylene terephthalate insulating thin film manufactured by the process meets the specifications equivalent to PET-E 50 μm thick PET film according to GOST 24234-80.
- For the first time, polyester resin can be manufactured (reaching the technical criteria equivalent to glue grade ТФ-60 according to TU 6-05-211-895-79) and being fully proactive in terms of polyester resin production technology. meeting the requirements of gluing the cap to the body of the cruise engine primer of LA AAM in Vietnamese conditions, replacing imported products of the same type.
