Goal and objectives of the project | To devrlop mechanics and numerical models based on finite element method for nonlinear analysis of anisotropic and nonhomogeneous structures. |
Main results | Developed a finite element model for nonlinear analysis of sandwich beams and frames made of anitropic and nonhomogeneous materials under large displacements. The influence of temperature rised has been taken into account in the finite element model.
Developed the finite element method based numerical algorithm and computer code for geometrical analysis of the structure. Analyzed some problems and evaluated the influence of material distribution, the structural geometric parameters on the nonlinear behavior of the structure.
Based on the Hill plastic criterion, the project has derived the expressions for limit loads of anisotropic plates with a crack unde pure bending.
Supported 01 PhD student on nonlinear analysis of structuers.
