Goal and objectives of the project

-    Finalizing the extraction process of 3 medicinal herbs M. charantia, G. sylvestre, R. glutinosa
-    Evaluation of the hypoglycemic effect of preparations containing M. charantia, G. sylvestre and R. glutinosa extracts to select the product with the best hypoglycemic effect.
-    200,000 capsules to support diabetes treatment
-    Standard of the capsule.

Main results

Theoretical results: The process of extraction of 3 medicinal herbs M. charantia, G. sylvestre, R. glutinosa  (100 kg of dry materal/batch) have been completed. These processes are stable performance, feasible in large quantities and safe and environmentally friendly; Isolation and structrural elucidation of 6 main chemical constituents (2 constituents/medicinal herb) as comparators for the evaluation of the extracts. Researched Researched and made TD production. The safety and in vivo hypoglycaemic effects of the TD production have been studied.
Applied results: The process of extraction of 3 medicinal herbs of M. charantia, G. sylvestre, R. glutinosa (100 kg of dry materal/batch) has been completed; A trial batch of 100 kg of semi-finished production (TD production); Produced 200,000 capsules Gluco CB-VHL

Novelty and actuality and scientific meaningfulness of the results

- This is the first diabetes product with a combination of three precious herbs: M. charantia, G. sylvestre, R. glutinosa . The GlucoCB-VHL capsule product, which has the effect of supporting diabetes treatment, is well-researched for its extraction process and pharmacological effects. Extraction technology uses ultrasonic extraction equipment to maximize the extraction of active constituents in medicinal herbs and shorten the extraction time. This is modern technology compared to the region and the world. Research on pharmacological effects was carried out by an experienced expert of the Institute of Biotechnology (Assoc. Prof. Dr. Do Thi Thao), so the obtained results have high accuracy.
- Studies on chemical composition have isolated 2 new constituents from G. sylvestre, 1 new constituent from bitter melon species.
