Goal and objectives of the project | Establishing science and technology basics for high pressure hydrogen production using solar energy and proposing a way to develop clean fuel production technology from renewable energy for Vietnam. |
Main results | The main obtained results are as following: (a) The available solar energy system has been reassembled to give new output current and voltage suitable for supplying the hydrogen electrolyzer (2V and 500A of DC). (b) The Ukrainian Technology for high pressure hydrogen production by the water electrolysis Method using material of variant valence has been more thoroughly studied aimed to reduce the energy consumption and increase the pressure of generated hydrogen. (c) There has been inverstigated also the problem of using different renewable energy sources in Vietnam for production the hydrogen as a purely clean fuel by using the Ukrainian technology. (d) Underaking this project the science and technology cooperation relationship between he Institute of Mechanics, VAST and the Institute of Mechanical Problems, NAS of Ukraine is firmly maintained and further developed. |
Novelty and actuality and scientific meaningfulness of the results | The accomplished cooperative project in hydrogen technology is an important contribution to the energy revolution of Vietnam in developing renewable and clean energy. This aimed, firstly, to increase the renewable energy sources for replacing the depleting fossil fuels and secondly, to move toward in using clean energy sources for reducing the envinronmental pollution today. The accomplished cooperative project in hydrogen technology is an important contribution to the energy revolution of Vietnam in developing renewable and clean energy.
