Goal and objectives of the project | A set of specimens representing about 30% of the total number of animal species distributed in Middle Center - Central Highlands has been built up for display and research, meeting the standards of the Vietnam Museum of Nature. Improve the research capacity of the unit and understanding of nature of the community. |
Main results | \Specimen and sample collections: From 2016 to 2020, Project has collected 3,705 specimens including 1,124 for exhibition and 2,581 for scientific research of mammals, birds, amphibians, reptiles, fish and insects; in which the mammal group was 45 samples, the bird group was 88 samples, the amphibian group was 155 samples, the reptile group was 146 samples, the fish group was 990 samples and the insect group was 2,281 samples. All of these samples were compared with the description of the approved outline in terms of quantity and quality. |
