Scientific results: - Samples were collected and investigated at 8 provinces: Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Lam Dong, Kon Tum, Quang Nam, Khanh Hoa, Dong Nai. In the project, we have collect 100% sample according to the project plan as well as surveying 400 questionaires at the mentioned provinces and their surrouding. The investigating researchers group has collected informations following the 4 main categories: characteristics, exploitation, price and origin, quality and usage of Ganoderma. - 43 species of Ganodermataceae mushroom were identified, including 11 species of the Amauroderma genus and 32 species of the Ganoderma genus among more than 1000 samples collected. The project built their dataset of ecological information, morphological, and color images. From 43 identified species, the research team surveyed over 10 species that have been published with good biological effects to conduct testing such as chemical composition surveys, thin layer chromatography fingerprints, and liquid chromatography. The team also conduct evaluation of biological effects on hepatoprotective, hypoglycemic, lipid-lowering and immune-regulatory effects. Through biological effects, it is possible to preserve and propagate some species such as Ganoderma applanatum, Ganoderma lucidum. These are precious genes that will bring contribution to medical and economic value in the future. - The project has implemented a conservation model, 60,000 m2 in area, under the forest canopy with humidity control to stimulate the growth of Ganoderma lucidum in Buon Ea-Ma area, Krong-Na commune, Buon Don district, Dak Lak province. - The project has built cultivating procedures of rich content of polysaccharides and rich content triterpenoids of Ganoderma lucidum. The study highlights the possibility of controlling the content of the two main groups of active ingredients in Ganoderma lucidum species, thereby allowing proactiveness in selecting cultivars for medical treatment. Also registered and obtained Viet-Gap certificate for the farming area in Krong Na, Buon Don district, Dak Lak province. Applicational significance: - Project TN18/C10 products from the indigenous Lingzhi source increase the economic value of Ganoderma lucidum and stabilize the output for this medicinal herb, including: 3 types of tonic wine products: Bao Linh, Tu Linh and, Linh Chi liquors; 01 Lingzhi tea product, 01 softgel capsules (Linstata soft capsules), and 03 Ganoderma lucidum products including: total extract, triterpenoid rich extract and polysaccharide rich extract. - Lingzhi mushroom farming model can control the content of two main groups of active ingredients, helping to improve the value of Ganoderma lucidum compared to previous agricultural farming models. The project signed a technology transfer and farming training agreement with 2 units in the Tay Nguyen region, 1 facility in the Southwest region; the project also transferred products to 3 facilities, including 1 media company, 2 pharmaceutical manufacturers. - Conducted trademark protection for thematic products; The showroom décor and dispaly of Dat Viet Linh Chi aims to bring the products of Ganoderma lucidum in the Tay Nguyen into a typical product for Dak Lak in particular and the Central Highlands Tay Nguyen in general. Mothan 10 tradmark of Lingzhi (Linh Chi Dat Viet, Linh Chi House and mothan 10 tradenames products are protected by licese low in Vietnam. |
