Main results | Theoretical results: |
Novelty and actuality and scientific meaningfulness of the results | The main contributions of the Project can be summarized in its proposal for a procedure for quick warning of marine environmental incidents: oil spills, algae blooms, deterioration of coastal water quality, and erosion/sedimentation; this proposal has been realized in a WebGIS package for monitoring and management of marine environment in the study area, together with the associated database relating to marine environment that help managers and end users in early warnings of marine environmental incidents. |
