| Goal and objectives of the project | - Establish the pilot scale technological procedures to pre-treatment sulfide-Au ores, Au-bearing Sn-(W) and Sb ores using in situ isolated bacteria and and recover Au from pre-treated ores; |
| Main results | - Elucidate the mineralogical characteristics and mode of occurrences of Au in the 3 types of Au mineralization: sulfide-Au, Au-bearing Sn-(W) and Sb; |
| Novelty and actuality and scientific meaningfulness of the results | Biological is the advance and green technology that is applying in various areas. It is the first time, in situ bacteria was isolated and applying to pre-treatment Au-bearing sulfide ores. The promised results open the new orientation on mineral explorations. Since, biotechnology reduces operating cost, Au from low-grade ores and mining dump would be economically and environmentally proceeded and recovered. This technology could be expanded to recover others useful metals in further study. |
