Goal and objectives of the project

- Monitoring and analysis three environmental components (sea water, sediment and biota) of the coastal from Tra Co (Quang Ninh) to Cua Lo (Nghe An) in Vietnam.
- Provide the data of the environmental sea in order to contribute in to the National report. On the other hand, to build the capacity on field survey and sample analyses in laboratory.  

 
Main results

- Theorerical results: to maintain the environmental data from 1995 up to present at eight point: Tra Co sea (Quang Ninh); Ha Long bay (Quang Ninh); Do Son sea (Hai Phong); Ba Lat estuary (Thai Binh); Sam Son sea (Thanh Hoa); Cua Lo sea (Nghe An); Co To island (Quang Ninh); Bach Long Vy island (Hai Phong) for control and alarm.
- Applied results: to supply data to the ministry to build annually environmental report and to contribute into environmental management in coastal provinces.

Maintain the quality assurance and quality control in environmental sea monitoring.
