| Goal and objectives of the project | To produce probiotic for fish pond water treatment and antimicrobial products for controling black-body disease and hemorrhagic disease on snakeskin gourami fish (Trichogaster pectoralis) to reduce the use of chemicals and antibiotics in the farming process, reducing cultural costs and ensure good quality commercial fish. |
| Main results | - Theoretical results:
- Applied results: Compled of three production processes of probiotics with selected bacterial sources in Dong Thap province that can be proactively source and control the quality of the products. Using these products in the farming process will reduce the amount of chemicals and antibiotics, and reduce production costs. |

All bacterial strains are being stored at the laboratoly of Department of Bioconversion Technology, Institute of Tropical Biotechnology and will be transferred to Dong Thap Verification and Testing Center.
