Goal and objectives of the project

-    Research automatic vibration reduction device system using shape memory alloy material.
+ Research, develop model of mechanical behavior of shape memory alloy    material.
+ Simulate oscillation problem when installing vibration reduction devices and  compare with the results of other devices to confirm the superiority of new equipment.
-  Design, manufacture and test automatic vibration reduction device system using shape memory alloy material.

 

Main results

-    Theoretical results: 01 report of the project’s results, 01 Simulation and calculation program for automatic vibration reduction device, 01 design drawing, 01 automatic vibration reduction device system for cables of suspension bridges and cable-stayed bridges with dimensions 1,0m x 0,12m x 0,12m, 01 report at the national scientific conference, 01 useful solution.
-    Applied results: The system has been applied for Ben Coc bridge with good results.

 

Novelty and actuality and scientific meaningfulness of the results

-    Designed and manufactured a system of vibration damping device for cable-stayed bridge.
-    Promote the development manufacturing technology vibration reduction equipment systems using smart materials.    
-    Open the direction of development of practical scientific products manufactured by Viet Nam, independent of foreign countries.

 

Products of the project

-    Scientific papers in referred journals (list):
-    Patents (list): 01 application for the utility solution has been accepted under the Decision No. 66006/QĐ-SHTT on 08/8/2019 of the National Office of Intellectual Property, Ministry of Science and Technology.
-    Technological products (describe in details: technical characteristics, place): A system of vibration reduction equipment using smart materials with a two-level design with a height of 50cm each floor, three strands of SMA wire with a diameter of 0.3mm, the length of each wire is 114cm arranged equally in three directions.

 

Recommendations -    We suggest the application of the system developed in the project for cable stayed bridge, hammock rope.
