| Goal and objectives of the project | Finding on suitable constituents and technical conditions for fabricating water-borne paint system based on acrylic emulsion polymer and SiO2 nanoparticles, having reflective solar heat ability. |
| Main results | - Theoretical results:
- Applied results:
Fabricated 2000 kg of paint and applied it to resist heat for 4500 m2 roof of Alexandre Yesin school at Ngoc Thuy, Long Bien, Hanoi. |
| Novelty and actuality and scientific meaningfulness of the results | Selected appropriate ratio of SiO2 nanoparticles for the fabrication of water paint having solar reflective function over 90%. This paint film could decrease the temperature of concrete surface 9.1 oC and the temperature of test chamber 6.9 oC. |
| Products of the project | - Scientific papers in referred journals (list): |
| Research area | Alexandre Yesin School, Ngoc Thuy, Long Bien, Hanoi. |
| Recommendations | We are looking forward to continuously recieving financial supports in order to implement a pilot production project of solar heat-reflective coating systems. |
