- Identification of saline intrusion in groundwater in Da Nang city;
- Crearting groundwater database of Da Nang city
- Proposing measures to control saline intrusion in groundwater and solution for rational exploitation of groundwater as a scientific basis for mangers in the planning of sustainable socio- economic development of Da Nang city.

- Theoretical results: Adding the methodology and research methodology for research on groundwater intrusion on coastal areas.
- Applied results: Providing scientific basis sustainable exploitation and use of water resources for socio- economic development purposes in view of sustainable development.
