Goal and objectives of the project

- Building the physical model for the Active Power Filter with the 20kVA load to apply for low voltage grid in the actual fact of Vietnam.
- Generate the clean power supply for the load.
- Research and design more harmonic filtering device with active power filter circuit does have a positive high-voltage capacitors High-improvement called Hybrid Active Power Filter capacity (HHAPF) to reduce the capacity of the filter circuit is positive and can be applied to the network with high voltage, large capacity.
- Improving the quality and efficiency of power supply, saving in energy use and environment protection;
- Developing a research group specializing in this field.

Main results

Scientifically:
- Research, building characteristics and parameters to perform calculations and design combined active filter circuit used for power distribution networks.
- The results from model simulations has met requirements of the standard filter circuit according to the IEEE standards 519-1992 and Circular 39/2015 of Industry and Trade Ministry); including several applications of new technologies in power electronics: DSP, IGBT to improve the efficiency of the filter circuit active filter, filter circuit longevity.
- The products have all completed registration
In terms of applications
- Applications in the local load, the load with a small and medium size.
- On the basis of the research results can be applied for providing extensive information for Electricity companies and other industrial companies.

Novelty and actuality and scientific meaningfulness of the results

- The structure of the harmonic filter system proposed in this task can easily connect multiple modules in parallel to filtering devices with greater capacity.
- The system has a simple control circuit, easily protection and isolation devices.
- The cost of implementation is low.
