-    Idendify and systemize the key environment conflicts in time and site in Tay Nguyen from 1990 to now;
-    Categorize and assess the impact of environment conflicts.
-    Anticipate the environment conflict transformation trend in the context of global integration and change to 2030.
-    Propose the measures of preventing, reducing the harmful effect of environment conflicts for serving Tay Nguyen region’s sustainable development.

8.1. Theoretical results:
-    Set up the theoretical basis on the environment conflicts (EC) and the EC assessment method (ECAM).
-    Determe the urgent environment problems and identifying the main EC in Tay Nguyen in renovation period from 1990 to now.
-    Set up a EC’s categorization system including 7 criteria 37 indications and applying to EC’s categorization in Tay Nguyen.
-    Determe the causes, impacts and consequences of EC to socio-economics, culture and security.
-    Anticipate the EC transformation trend in the context of global integration and change to 2030.
-    Propose the policy framework, measures of preventing, reducing the harmful effect of environment conflicts for serving Tay Nguyen region and 06 vital geographical areas’s sustainable development.
-    Build the ECAM maps of Tay Nguyên region and 06 vital geographical areas.
8.1. Applied results:
The results of the project practically attends to the policy planning related to EC in Tay Nguyen to suitably exploit, use the natural resources serving the sustainable development.

-    Under the approach of enviroment sociology, the project recommended the definitions of “environment”, “environment conflict” and proposed “the environment conflict assessment method”.
-    On this basis the project applied to research the EC in Tay Nguyen and obtained the new scientific and applied results above mentioned.
