- Completely compiling for publishing and issuing the Book series of Vietnamese Sea, Islands including 10 books.
- Taking full advantage of manuscript and document resources from inside and outside Vietnam Academy of Science & Technology (VAST).
- Providingfor public libraries and help the management persons, scientists, researchers, lecturers, students and postgraduates to havemore the reference materials and textbooks.
- Serving national and international readers to have more knowledge above scientific and technological sea and islands.

During 02 years (2014 – 2015), PST completely implemented the Project, organized to compile, appraise 10 monograph manuscripts above the sea and islands as follows:
