Goal and objectives of the project

Goals and Objectives of the project: Building of map image database, coverage condition map from satellite image, utilisation in management of river basin system in Dong Nai province
Main results

-    Technical results:
    Establishment of VNREDSat-1 image database in level 3, coordinates system VN2000.
    Establishment of lancover map, scale 1:25000, classified according to MONRE’s classification system.
    Establishment of land use map, updated from satellite image, scale 1:25000
    Establishment of database for river basin management on 12 basins. Each database is organized into sufficient layers: satellite image, terrain map, land cover map, land use map.
    Training and technology transfer in image processing, update of land use map.
    Analysis of VNREDSat-1 image in particularly and remote sensing imagery in generally on utilisation capability for river basin management. It shows clearly advantages and dis advantages that need to improved as well as capability of using VNREDSat-1 imagery not only in river basin management but also others subject
    Supporting on training of 01 master
-    Applied results:
    The result of the project is tranferred to local people, shall be used in management of river basin.
