1. Determine the theoretical basis and practical management of urbanization and the urbanization process of sustainable development in the Central Highlands;
2. Identify the current status of urban development and management process of urbanization in the Central Highlands over 25 years of innovation;
3. Evaluate the success and limitations of the process of urbanization in the Central Highlands through 25 years of reform and the cause;
4. To analyze and evaluate the impact of the process of urbanization to sustainable development in the Central Highlands;
5. Make a point, orientation and solutions for urban development and management process of urbanization in sustainable development in the Central Highlands until 2020 and vision to 2030.

Theoretical results: Contribute additional and improve organization concept, the scope of the management of urbanization and the urbanization process in the direction of sustainable development.
Findings of the Project showed that the situation of urbanization and urban management in the Central Highlands, with the characteristics and factors affecting the process of urbanization and urban management in the Central Highlands.

Applied results:

• Contribute to the development of the program of studies Social Sciences and Humanities in general, and direct the Tay Nguyen 3.
• Contribute to solving cognitive problems in leadership and management in the communities about the management of urbanization and the urbanization process in those particular areas, promote the fine traditions of the Central Highlands in sustainable development.
• In the context of globalization and international integration, themes help the departments in the provinces in Central Highlands oriented urban development and management and effectively urbanization process.
• Implement threads makes training, capacity building and development of teaching staff and research on urban planning and urban management; rural development and scientific development.
• The results of the research will be the reference value is not only in teaching, research, students and postgraduate students of urbanization but also a useful reference for policymakers, urban management, regional management in the process of integration and development.

The study has systematized the theoretical issues of urban and urbanization, the urban management in sustainable development. Results of the research study analyzed the situation and managed urbanization urbanization process in Central Highlands in 25 years. On that basis, analysts characteristics Central Highlands urbanization and factors affecting urbanization and urban management in the Central Highlands. Suggested some solutions to urban management in the Central Highlands in sustainable development.

New contributions of the research opens new research avenues in terms of both theoretical and practical aspects of urbanization and urban management, as well as the training of human resources for the Central Highlands. The study results are an important basis for the strategic planning of economic development - social and human resources of Central Highlands in the current conditions, especially the field of urbanization and urban management process in sustainable development.
