Goal and objectives of the project
  1. Identify and assess characteristics and factors impacting land management and use in the Central Highlands since 1986 to now.
  2. Analyse trends of land management and use in the Central Highlands since 1986 to now from sustainable development approach. Draw lessons learned in land management and use.
  3. Recommend and interpret orientattions and solutions for improving institutions of land management and increasing effectiveness of sustainable land use.
Main results

Theoretical results:

  1. Identify and assess characteristics and factors impacting land management and use in the Central Highlands since 1986 to now.
  2. Analyse and assess historical process of land management institutions in the Central Highlands.
  3. Evaluate trends of land management and use in the Central Highlands since 1986 to now from sustainable development approach.

Applied results:

  1. Draw lessons learned in land management and use in the Central Highlands.
  2. Recommend and interpret some solutions for improving institutions of land management and increasing effectiveness of sustainable land use in Vietnam and particularly in the Central Highlands.
