- To analyse and choose the suitable wastewater treatment technology for Rehabilitation Hospital, Danang.
- To build and set up 01 wastewater treatment facility for Rehabilitation Hospital, Danang with the capacity of 30 m3/day.
- To expand and apply this wastewater treatment technology for equivalent scale hospitals/medical centers.

- Scientific results:
The Wastewater treatment plant using advanced trickling biofilter technology with the capacity of 30 m3/day has been installed and operated successfully in Rehabitation Hospital, Danang; the effluent quality meets the requirement of national standard QCVN 28:2010/BTNMT (column B).
- Applied results:
The advanced trickling biofilter technology with low investment, operation expenses and simple operation technics is able to widely applied for treatment of general wastewater as well as medical wastewater.

- Besides wave-shaped media, spherical media is added in order to improve treatment performance of the facility.
- To reduce the investment and operation expenses due to the use of natural air with ejector support (without using air blower).
