Goal and objectives of the project

To set up some production technology of some technical rubber products using in marine sector and irrigation sector including high performance marine fender  ( Beta type,... ) and soft, high pressure rubber hoses for marine dredging ships.

Main results

- Theoretical results:
+ Optimization of materials recipe based on 3 components NBR/CR/PVC: By application of experimental planning method, it was to find a mathematic model describing the dependence of the tensile strength on the component ratios in the rubber system NBR /CR/PVC, corresponding to 44/40/16
+ Improvement of the technical- mechanical properties by using nanosilica: By using nanosilica, the optimal content of nanosilica is about 5%. By this content, the mechanical properties of materials increase about 10% compared to that of pristine materials.
+ Study on the price reduction of materials by using fly ash as filler: The environmental resistance of NR/NBR was also increase by using fly ash, especially fly ash with silane surface treatment. The aging factor of NR/NBR blend with 20 pkl fly ash with silnane surface treatment in air and in salt solution was relative high
+ Completion of production technology for high quality marine fender DD500L2100
+ Completion of production technology for soft high pressure rubber hoses
- Applied results:
+ Production and application of 50 marine fender samples
+ Production and application of 50 samples (soft high pressure rubber hoses)

Novelty and actuality and scientific meaningfulness of the results

- Have optimized research component rubber material 3 component blend of NBR/CR/PVC by experimental planning method.
- Have research coordination nanosilica with carbon black in the manufacture of natural rubber nanocomposite material.
