Theoretical results:
a. Collected 300 kg of dried fruits
b. Isolation process of momordicoside A (20 kg of dried fruits/time)
c. Identified the physical characters and structure of momordicoside A
d. Isolated momordicoside A for in vivo assay (50 g)
e. Isolated 18 compounds including 5 new and 13 known compounds from the fruits of Momordica charantia L.
f. Research indicated the highest contents of momordicoside A at the 30th day after flowering
g. Evaluated α-glucosidase inhibitory activity of momordicoside A (IC50 = 0.47 mM).
h. Identificated the acute toxicity of momordicoside A (result: non-toxic)
i. Evaluated the in vivo activities in the treatment of diabetes of momordicoside A
