Goal and objectives of the project

- Study SPH (Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics) mesh free particle method and usability in mechanics.
- Application SPH method to sovel CFD problem.
- Development a software to sovel CFD problem by SPH method.

Main results

- Theoretical results: Studied SPH (Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics) mesh free particle method and the applicability of this method in mechanics. Applied SPH method to sovel CFD problem.
- Applied results: The SPH-Fluid2D software is developed by Fortran 90 language. This sofrware has been tested by some test case.

Novelty and actuality and scientific meaningfulness of the results

It’s the first time in Vietnam a software using SPH method to sovel CFD problem is developed. This software has made new progress in comparison with other commercial software using this method by using BiCGsctab method to sovel Possion equation in CFD problem.
