- Building electronic map of tourism for Hai Phong city, fully reflecting tourism resources in both natural and human aspects, tourism sites and their service infrastructures by digital technology and GIS, contributing to the tourism diffusion and development of this city.
- Providing tourism database, managed in the GIS software, for Hai Phong to update and exploit the management of tourism resources and services.

- Theoretical results: the electronic tourism map of Hai Phong, recorded on CD, would be a data set on tourism as well as an electronic search system with the ability of integrating multimedia technologies, meeting the community demands of sharing and searching information.
