-  Intensive investigation on the Vietnamese flora and research on the values of the results of this work.
- Training the PhD. Students in the French laboratory and the Vietnamese laboratory.

Theoretical results:
- Organization of 15 trips for collecting of plant samples at 10 provinces in northern and central of Vietnam.
- Collecting of 742 samples belong to 371 species of 265 genus in 107 plant family.
- Identification of scientific name and making the specimen for all of the collected samples. These specimens were deposited at the project’s store and the Institute of Ecology and Biological Resources.
- Collection of the total extract of the samples from all of the collected species.
- Sent 2027 extracts to the Institute of Natural Products ICSN (France) for testing of biological activity.
- Investigation on the phytochemistry of 13 species having good results in the biological assays at ICSN.
- Isolation of 166 compounds including 28 new compounds from 13 collected species. Some of these were sent to ICSN for biologicay assays.

Applied results:
- Patent: “7-hydroxy-6-metoxy-4,5:3’,4’-bis(metylendioxy)-2.7’-xyclolignan-9,9’-olit and the isolation method of this compound from the fruits of Cleistanthus indochinensis Mer. ex Croiz” was submitted on May 17th, 2011 at National Office of Intellectual Property of Vietnam and was acceptted the submission in the decision of 24428/QĐ-SHTT on July 29th, 2013. The patent with number 12278 was published on Jan 29th, 2014.
- One Book: “ANNONACEAE FAMILY. Volume 1”

The Web “Pôle Substances Naturelles” was established from the results of this project by the scientists of ICSN. This web is very useful for finding  the informations of the plant species collecting in the project.
