• To Implement the solutions to improve quality wholly ANSN (Serie A: Nanoscience and Nanotechnology) step by step which being published by VAST, on the scientific content and appearance representation, quality of print, progress and scale of distribution to get the international standard.
• To strengthen Editorial Board consists of foreign experts and young persons in order to improve the administrative ability to enhance the quality of editorial office activities: receiving article, peer review, editing the article by the modern methods and technology.
• To cooperate with IOP Publishing Limited to publish online journal in the journal system of IOP in accordance with the agreement signed between VAST and IOP Publisher dated 29 March 2010.

 Pulished the online and print journal Vol.1, Vol. 2, Vol. 3 (2010-2012) on schedule.

• Average number of downloads for ANSN articles is high compared to other IOP journals.

Strengthened the staff of ANSN’s Editorial Board in accordance with criterion of international journal. To established and implemented the process of Journal ANSN ’s administrative publish activities according to the international journal standard in electronic journal system of IOP in accordance with the agreement signed between VAST and IOP Publishing Limited dated 29 March 2010.

• Decision No. 1016/QD-KHCN dated 24 August 2011 by Chairman of VAST regarding the establishing Editorial Board of ANSN Journal term: 2011 – 2015 consists of 28 members, there are many Vietnamese young scientists who are working in foreign countries and the foreign scientist are working in the advanced scientific countries in Europe, America. (16 members per 28 members of Editorial Board).
• Agreement of electronic journal publishing cooperation in the electronic journal system of IOP signed between VAST and IOP Publishing Limited, United Kingdom dated 29 March 2010.
• ANSN Style Instruction for the authors in accordance with IOP’ s standard.
• Standardized process of article collection, peer review, editorial activities… maintained the reject rate about 20 – 30%.

Re-format whole of ANSN’s appearance in accordance with the international standard since 2010 both of its online and print.

Equipped and deployed to apply the software of submission online into administrative tasks at editorial office. Renovated the operation method at editorial office of ANSN and get the first results such as: increase in arrival article quantity; set up the List of peer review expert for ANSN, shortened time of article’s review…

Successfully organized the 02 ANSN Editorial Board meetings with the participation of its members in Vietnam and its members who are foreigner and Vietnamese currently working in foreign countries with the presence of IOP Publishing representative.

• The first meeting held on 11 November 2010 at Hanoi with the participation of 18/24 members of Editorial Board and the 30 participants.
• The second meeting held on 31 October 2012 at Ha Long with the participation of 21/34 members of Editorial Board and the 45 participants.
