• Research for scientific and legal basics for activities of using outer space and formulating policies and law on outer space of Vietnam.
• Partly contribute to perfect and formulate Vietnam legal frame in the field for the purpose of developing space science within the of process of national industrialization and modernization. 

Theorerical results:

• Systematic overall research for general theory of outer space, including the scientific base on the formulation of legal policies for space activities.    
• Overall research for international legal frame and specific countries for space activities, and prepare comparison and propose appropriate scenario with Vietnamese situation in the formulation of legal frame on activities of using outer space for peaceful purposes.
• Analyze, formulate and explain scientific base serving the formulation of Vietnamese legal frame of using outer space for peaceful purposes.
• Propose schemes and models for formulating Vietnamese legal frame on space activities.
• Propose the draft law on space activities (the central law of Vietnamese legal frame for space.

Applied results: The research results shall positively affect some socioeconomic and diplomat-political fields, partly contribute the realization of strategy on international integration and confirm Vietnam position in conquering space.   

• Setting up data system on international space policies and laws as well as Vietnamese space laws.
• Propose solutions for the formulation and perfect Vietnamese laws on using space for peaceful purpose.
• Propose models for formulating laws on space activities (central law of Vietnamese legal frame for outer space).

• Newspapers to be announced (list): Researchers in the project have announced six articles in Vietnam scientific papers/ newspapers (Law journal – National university of Ha Noi, Journal on legal formulation and etc)      
• Scientific papers in referred journals (list): Two papers have been announced
