Goal and objectives of the project

2.669 Complete the technological process of producing zeolite Cu2+ from domestic kaolin for used in aquaculture environment treatment and produce micronutrient fertilizer to increase the efficiency of NPK fertilizer for plants.

Main results

1. Complete the process of producing zeolite NaA from natural kaolin.
2. Complete the process of producing zeolite Cu2+ from zeolite NaA.
3. The production process of micronutrient fertilizers contained zeolite-Cu2+ used for stimulates plants growth with capacity 1,000 kg/batch
4. The production process of product contained zeolite-Cu2+ used for treat aquaculture environment with capacity 500 kg/batch.

The project had improved the production technology process of zeolite NaA and zeolite-Cu2+ from natural kaolin (Fig. 1 and fig.2). The installation, operation, survey of the production specifications of zeolite-Cu2+ used for treat aquaculture environment have a capacity of 500 kg/batch (fig.3) and produce micronutrient fertilizer which have a capacity of 1.000 liters/batch (fig.4).
8. In practice
Zeolite is capable of absorbing very good heavy metal ions, total ammonium nitrogen, toxic organic compounds. In aquaculture environment, ammonia is deposited in the form of polluted NH4 or NH3. In water, zeolite is capable of ion-exchange with NH4 cation. As such, the NH3 concentration in the aquaculture ponds will be reduced. Zeolites are used for the purpose of pond rehabilitation in the middle or near the end of the crop or use to reduce the amount of NH3 produced, periodic.
Zeolite can hold nutrients and release them slowly. Zeolite-containing fertilizers slowly release and control N, P, K nutrients for more than 70 days for plant growth.

Novelty and actuality and scientific meaningfulness of the results

- Promote the synergic of zeolite and copper salts to create new products that are effective in cleansing the aquatic environment of aquaculture and stimulating the growth of plants.
