Goal and objectives of the project
  • Monitoring and analysis three environment (sea water, sediment and biota) of the northern coastal Vietnam.
  • Provide the environmental data of coastal sea to create the National report on environmental sea. On the other hand, to build the capacity on field survey and sample analyses in laboratory. 
Main results
  • Theorerical results: to maintain the environmental data from 1995 up to present at six point: Tra Co sea (Quang Ninh); Ha Long bay(Quang Ninh); Do Son sea (Hai Phong); Ba Lat estuary (Thai Binh); Sam Son sea (Thanh Hoa); Cua Lo (Nghe An) for control and alarm.
  • Applied results: to supply data to the ministry to build annually environmental report and to contribute into environmental management in coastal provinces.

Maintain the quality assurance and quality control in environmental sea monitoring.
