+ Build, manage, maintain and effectively exploit information systems including: Electronic portal (https://vast.gov.vn), Email system (https://mail.vast.vn), Document Management and Administration System (https://office.vast.vn), Electronic document interconnection axis (https://office.vast.vn/vanbanlienthong/public/auth/login), Online topic registration system (https://office.vast.vn/oms), information technology technical infrastructure, security and network security systems of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, specialized databases in the fields under the management of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology to serve the direction, administration and management of the leaders of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology in accordance with the regulations of the law and Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology.
+ Provide online services of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology; manage, plan, allocate and allocate resources on high-performance computer and computer networks for scientific computing managed by the assigned Center; ensure the network connection of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology with the Government and State agencies in accordance with the regulations of the law.

+ Manage organizations and apparatus; manage and employ civil servants and employees of each unit in accordance with regulations of the law and Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology.
+ Manage the unit's finances and assets in accordance with the regulations of the law.
