| - Scientific R&D projects in various types such asstate- and ministrial-level projects, especially at VAST;national key programs;fundamental research projects via NAFOSTED, natioanl key laboratories and regular projects. - Implementation of IT application in various ministries, and provincial authorities, softwareoutsourcing to foreign countries. - Application of key IT and automation problems such as National Personal ID of Vietnam, multimedia, grid computing, cloud computing, embedded systems, building lectures using real virtual technology - Scientific cooperation with foreign universities and research institutes, especially The Institute of Information Technology closely cooperates with the Graduate University of Science and Technology (GUST) to maintain the leading position in the training of IT and automation graduate students in the country |
