Goal and objectives of the project

- Research on the application of a bidirectional PV cooperating system using small wind turbine to increase the efficiency of rooftop solar power stations. 
- Enhancing research potential and in-depth training for staff in the field of renewable energy technology.

Main results
- Theoretical results:
 The research develops a electronic circuit system using advanced control method to transfer electricity from small wind turbine to the power converter system (PCS) of solar power station without any modification to the PCS of existing solar power system.
- Applied results:
 The scientific and technological results of the project have completed the integration of a small-scale wind power system into the existing solar power system to operate the PCS at night as well as use the remaining capacity of the PCS during the day. Thus, it can improve the efficiency of the PCS.
Novelty and actuality and scientific meaningfulness of the results

The project has designed and tested a electronic circuit system using advanced control method to transfer electricity from small wind turbine to the power converter system (PCS) of the solar power station; evaluation of the efficiency of the wind and solar hybrid power station in Vietnam's weather conditions.
